Grasshopper Pie


25 Oreo cookies crushed (reserve a little for topping)

½ cup melted butter (I use ¼ cup)

1 – 7oz jar marshmallow creme

¼ cup green Creme De Menthe

1 pint heavy cream



To make the crust, mix the butter and cookies, pat into 8" square or round pan. Save a little for the topping.


In the marshmallow jar, mix marshmallow creme and crème de menthe until smooth. Whip the heavy cream so that it is firm and retains any peaks. Fold the marshmallow and crème de menthe into the whipped cream, then pour the mixture into the piecrust. Sprinkle the reserved cookie crumbs on top and put pie into the freezer for about 6-8 hours. When ready to serve, slice the pie using a hot knife.
